Tomas Pekhart continued his fine form in front of goal as our Under-18s beat
Southampton 2-1 in the FA Premier Academy League on Wednesday.
In this fixture re-scheduled from September 2, in-form striker Pekhart opened
the scoring after 27 minutes only for the Saints to level matters up five
minutes before the break
We regained the advantage after 52 minutes when Pekhart capitalised on a
mix-up in the visitors' defence and calmly slotted home. David Hutton and
Jake Livermore also went close as we stretched our unbeaten run to six games
and made it just one loss in 10 so far this campaign.
Spurs U18s: Button, Mtandari, Casey, Archibald-Henville, Hughton,
Davis (Hutchins 63), Livermore, Mason, Martin, Hutton, Pekhart (Medley 68).
Subs (not used): Stroud, Wells, Townsend.
