Reporters from Yahoo, ESPN, and CBS are reporting on Twitter than the Nets have agreed to hire Kidd after meeting with their final candidate, Brian Shaw, for four hours. Kidd announced his retirement last week after a 19 year career with the Mavericks, Suns, Nets, and Knicks.
