This is Dr. James Andrews' recommendation after checking out Beltran's bone spur in his injured right elbow on Tuesday. Beltran下禮拜一會開始揮棒，為了測試自己受傷的的手肘，再決定是否動手術。這是Dr. Andrews給的建議 - Beltran受傷的右手肘有骨刺。 "If he doesn't feel good, then the next stop will probably be surgery," Joe Girardi said. Girardi說如果如果沒有好轉，那下一站就是手術。 Surgery would take Beltran out for eight to 10 weeks, Girardi said. 手術大概會讓Beltran離開8到10周。 Beltran is on the 15-day disabled list with sharp pain in his elbow. He has had cortisone shots and pills to try to limit the aggravation. Beltran目前因為手肘疼痛被放進15DL，他已經接受了一些類固醇治療。 "Does he feel he can take his 'A' swing?" Girardi said of what question Beltran needs to answer on Monday. "You don't want him going out there if he is taking his 'B' or 'C' swing. That's not going to help us.
