The Red Sox announced that they signed their first round draft pick, Nick Hagadone, today. He's a lefty out of the University of Washington. They also signed eight amateur free agents from various countries: Australian, Chinese Taipei, Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. The most notable of those is Michael Almanzar, a third baseman out of the Dominican. Most of them signed contracts for 2008.
