Sex, the primitive yet omnipotent mechanism
Of drives, arouses ecstatic life ---
And anguishing death combined.
Behind every scene on the versatile
Shakespearean stage --- be it grand or bleak,
Director Libido maneuvers melodramas that
Befall us --- U.S. and former U.S.S.R alike.
A tug of war enshrouded in riot,
Between the hereditary, prefabricated impulse
And the installed, prescribed reason,
Heralds an unsleeping battle
With truce unseen ---
Yet if marrying both in harmony, like
The way hydrogen meets oxygen,
We may orchestrate ourselves for
An euphoric symphony of Zen --- equilibrium revisited.

Notes:
1. Line 5用"Shakespearean stage"是因為莎翁在他的戲劇中描述了人生的不同風貌,
藉此表示sex在人類生活和文化中的多元性
2. Line 6在"us"後面接上"U.S." 和"U.S.S.R." 乃文字遊戲
3. Line 8用"hereditary, prefabricated"表示sex是與天俱來的,
刻鏤在DNA裡面的.
4. Line 9用"installed, prescribed"表示reason是後天加諸的,
相對於sex, reason是一種後天形式或是道德期許所規定出來的
5. Line 15提到"Zen"是因為若我們能把sex亦能載舟, 亦能覆舟的特質控制好的話,
(如同T. S. Eliot "The Wasteland"第五部所說的"control"),
sex能引領人類巧妙的達到禪的平衡.
EX. 過度強烈的sex -> 傷害別人 毀滅自已 (打開電視 天天上場的新聞事件)
過低而失衡的sex -> 人類的延續或人口數量產生問題
6. Line 15在代表東方的"Zen"之後提到"equilibrium"則暗示代表西方的Piaget
