Hi,
You can find a preliminary port of hadoop 0.20.203.0 here:
http://people.freebsd.org/~clement/hadoop/
Features:
- Hadoop user creation (UID: 950)
- basic rc scripts for all hadoop services
- native library build for current platform (i.e. 386 or amd64)
- bin/hadoop wrapper
ToDo:
- Work on environment variables
- rc scripts clean up
- test test test
- install contrib
- install c++ stuff in ${PREFIX}
All configuration files live in ${PREFIX}/etc/hadoop, log files in=20
/var/log/hadoop, and $HADOOP_HOME is ${PREFIX}/hadoop.
