from the Astros for RHP Jason Jennings and RHP Miguel Asencio.
The Astros are likely to regret parting with the 6-foot-8, 250-pound Hirsh,
a potential second or third starter who likely would have been just fine in
their rotation next season. The Rockies figure to include him in their rotation
, and he's one more pitcher they can build around. Maybe he won't be of much
use in fantasy leagues anytime soon, but he's on his way to becoming a better
pitcher than Jennings.
